Trader Joe's a favorite shopping spot for UP residents & everyone else too.....
Recently our team showed a home to a new client and one of
the things they liked about the home was it’s close proximity to Trader Joe’s..I
tend to agree and I don’t live quite so close, but being close enough to easily
shop there is one of the bonuses of my location as well.
Why is Trader Joe’s a big deal? Well for one, it has the very best service of
any of the grocery stores we shop in. The lay of the store makes it so you can do
all of your shopping in a short span of time.
I can buy what I need there so much faster than when I shop in other
grocery stores. Other reasons? Here are a few.
1.
No GMO foods.
Trader Joes sources all of their foods to assure that none of the
products are Genetically modified. No
more having to read labels and avoid any corn, zucchini, yellow crook neck
squash, canola, soy and so on unless their organic. You can just purchase your food and not
worry.

A nice selection of organic foods

A nice selection of gluten free foods
4.
Lots of pre-prepared “fast foods” that are
reasonably healthy and not found easily elsewhere.
5.
The best prices I’ve been able to find on nuts
and seeds as well as dried fruit. ( and a huge selection of them)
6.
Nice selection of meats, again reasonably priced
and from my family’s experience, very high quality as well. Everything from chicken, pork & beef to
many kinds of sea food and deli meats.
7.
Best priced cheeses in a huge selection.
8.
Snacks snacks snacks...again, good prices and
don’t worry, they are GMO free
